Model SS-50 Standalone Slitter

GEC Stand-alone shear slitter. As with the GEC rewinder the slitter unit is also totally independent of printing press, no mechanical ties to the press. The slitter unit can be easily moved from press to press. An independent 3 H.P. drive is used to power the anvil cylinder, so the shear slitting station also acts as a pullstation. Shear slitting and Score slitting are achieved using Economy Machine Tool pneumatic Cushion Cut Shear Slitters. Nimcore Bowed Rollers are used for web separation. Machine can be equipped with locator pins and wheels for a total portability package.
